Teachers urged to learn local language

There's a push to make it mandatory for teachers in predominately Indigenous schools to learn the local Aboriginal language. Kayleen Kerwin grew up speaking bits and pieces of her family's language - Paakantji. It wasn't until she was 43 years old that she became fluent, with the help of a local school teacher, Robert Lindsay.
