Mother language protection stressed

KATHMANDU: Stakeholders stressed the need that the State should make investments in the preservation of mother languages spoken by different nationalities. At a workshop organised by the Nepal Academy on ‘Current Status of Kirant Rai Language and Literature’ on Wednesday, participating speakers voiced their complaints on the State’s apathy to preserve languages.
