Maya Language might be lost in two generations

The Linguistics Coordinator of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) Fidencio Briseño Chel, explained that the Maya language is the most indigenous language spoken in the country, however the number of Maya speaker might decrease within the next two generations.
