Learn from the Indian experience

Despite Hindi being the national language of India, it is not learnt and spoken by all, because, it is not compulsory to study our national language. But, in Malaysia, there is a single language Bahasa Malaysia which is strictly implemented and hence every Malaysian, wherever they go, can converse among themselves.
