IGNOU to set up first Indian Sign Language Research Centre

New Delhi, July 25 (IBNS) The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. Of India, will establish country's first Indian Sign Language Research & Training Centre (ISLRTC) at the campus of the university to promote the use of Indian Sign Language (ISL) in India, announced Prof. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai, VC, IGNOU.
