£6m for sabbaticals to learn Welsh

EDUCATION Minister Leighton Andrews has approved a multi-million-pound scheme to improve standards in Welsh-medium teaching and learning. The £6m Welsh-language Sabbatical Scheme enables practitioners to be released by their employers to attend training courses to develop their Welsh-language skills.
